MY 1,000TH POST!

Wow. So I don't even know what to say really. I've been at this for almost 2 years now and I have to admit it's really changed my life. (Ok, so that might be a little too serious and sensitive and such. I'll get back to my snarky, sarcastic wit in just a few.) There's so many possibilities with this blog. I'm hoping to eventually use it to expand to an ACTUAL sports writing career. (One that will provide me with a paycheck. Dollah, dollah bills... see above.) There is so much support in the footballing community, especially amongst the ladies. We're a tight knit posse. (I wouldn't quite call us a FIRM though... yet.)

So anywho, I guess this is just a HUGE thank you to all my readers for their support, for reading my blog, and for being generally fabulous people. Keep up the comments. Feedback is always wonderful, both positive and negative.

THANKS AGAIN!!
<3 Blair

P.S. Thousandth is really hard to say aloud.

500 Not Out

This is my 500th post. Pretty ridiculous seeing that it took me over a year to get the first 250 and then 2 months to get the second 250. But I guess it's all time well spent if my readers are happy.

Which brings me to the subject of this particular post: the happiness of my readers. (All four of you.) Commenting is not something I've been blessed with, apparently, as a blogger. I even integrated the rating system in an attempt to get some feedback, but again, it hasn't been as productive as I would have liked.

So here is your opportunity to get back to me. How am I doing? What was your favorite post out of the 500 I've written? What are my weaknesses? My strengths? Any subject you wish I would focus on more? Focus on less? Let it all out.

Improvement is my goal. And I'm hoping that with improvement I can get even more returning readers. THANKS EVERYONE!

Cheers,
Blair

POST #250: Don’t Worry; I Won’t Bore You with Sentiments

250
But it’s still a big deal. There are many ways I could celebrate: 250 things I love about football (most of them being thighs, Frank Lampard, shirt exchanging, and general hotness), 250 pictures of shirtless players, 250 reasons I keep writing, 250 words I overuse probably, or perhaps 250 players I’d date to escape my miserable office job existence. Frankly, all of these ideas would take up too much blogging space and I doubt anyone would read past #50. But thanks for reading my blog and I hope you continue to enjoy my ramblings about football, WAGs, fashion, news, and gossip.

It's My Anniversary!... Plus a Month

anniversary roses
...only yellow roses for this class act. None of those tacky red ones for me, thank you.

It’s been a whole year (and one month) since I started this blog. It started out with just my best friend and I reading, but eventually I expanded. Mostly because of my persistent self-promotion on other, more popular sites. Getting mentioned on Kickette and This is Extra Time also helped. But in remembering my start, I wish to share some of my favorite entries as well as honoring the ones that you have deemed most popular. THANKS FOR READING!

Most Popular Entries:
1. Hump Day Celebration: Hot Cousins
2. Disappearing Faux Hawk
3. Nereida Gallardo: Lost in Translation
4. WAGs on Holiday
5. Cheryl Cole Leaves Bra and Dignity at Home

My Favorites:
Maurice Edu Makes Americans Look Bad
Pièce de Résistance: Nereida Gallardo, Adios Puta!

I'm a Bad Girlfriend

anniversary photo
I realize that I'm single, but My Relationship with Football had a one-year anniversary last month, AND I TOTALLY FORGOT! To make it easier for me to cope with my ever-apparent memory loss, I am going to celebrate it a month late. So the celebration will officially be tomorrow. You have been warned!

It's October by the way. When the f**k did that happen?
