USMNT at the ESPYs

First off, the boys attended the more casual Serena Williams' Pre-ESPYs party.

But for the actual ceremony, they cleaned up quite nicely. But I must point out that EVERY ONE of them has a cell phone in their pocket. At least we think they do...


And WHERE did this bird come from? Her waist is like smaller than my wrist. Eat a biscuit or something, woman!


Surprisingly, the accolade they won, is voted on by American sports fans. The boys won in the Best Moment of the Year category for their last-minute goal against Algeria.



Who chose your shoes Mr. Bocanegra? Clint Eastwood?

USA Beat Costa Rica

Actually is was a draw, but it felt like a win because we had already qualified for the World Cup, and now Costa Rica faces Uruguay in a playoff match. Too bad.





I would like to send my best to Charlie Davies and his family. The next year is going to be difficult, but you are strong and will persevere. (But I'd also like to point out the one pillock who's holding a six.)

Jozy Altidore is very close with him and they room together on international duty.

The American striker will join Hull City for a season-long loan from Villareal. Altidore, 19, relishes the chance to play for The Tigers in one of the strongest leagues in the world. GOOD LUCK!

WTF Moment: USA Beat Spain 2-0

I'm sure there was much money lost on this Confederations Cup match. Who could have expected that the EURO winners would lose to the country with probably the least amount of footie interest. Kind of a slap in the face, ay? Ouch.
