David Beckham Returns to LA Galaxy and Exposes Tattoo

The tattoo is supposed to represent David and his three boys. So in a few months he'll have to go back in and get a fourth cherub put in. Not well planned...

John Rooney in Florida for MLS Combine

That's not the first scaly reptile he's touched. He is Wayne's brother.

David Beckham Returns for LA Galaxy

After attempting to rouse the fans into a raucous rendition of Y.M.C.A., David was asked to get his kit on (eventually) and enter the match for the Galaxy. But only after he tousled his lengthy hair into a well-ruffled, sexy bedhead mess.

But let's be honest. It's not like the Galaxy kits exactly leave much to the imagination. Very appreciated adidas...

David's thigh flashing also left little to imagination as well. Which was also very appreciated...

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Thierry Henry Heads to America and the NYC Red Bulls

The France striker, after a scandalous World Cup, has escaped to the U.S. and joined the New York Red Bulls. (Product placement much?)

He did all the consequential embarrassing American chat show interviews where no one knew who he was, could pronounce his name, or tell him how he performed in the World Cup. Gotta love the inability for American broadcasters to invest in any sort research because they already know everything. Right...

When arriving for his first match, a friendly against Tottenham, Henry and his gf, Andrea, took public transportation. This might explain Andrea's disgruntled facial expression.

Philadelphia Union Win Home Opener

United States Vice President, Joe Biden, was in attendance and was joined by his granddaughter.

I was also there, and here I got a shot of Chris Pontius, of D.C. United, going in at halftime.

This is Mr. Pontius on the left. Yeah, really good-looking. I know...

Christian Arrieta (below left), who didn't make the original attractive Union players list because he hadn't been signed yet, proved to be one of the more impressive players. Seventeen-year-old Jack McInerney (below right), who came on late in the game, showed some real skill and awareness as well.

But the Man of the Match was Sebastien La Toux who scored all three goals for the Union.

I was greatful for the "enthusiasm" of the Union players after the match as well. My thanks go out to you too, Stefani Miglioranzi.

And you too, Mr. Pontius. Nummers...

Real Salt Lake Wins MLS Cup, Beckham Bummed

It came down to penalties after extra time ended with the score at 1-1. Landon Donovan failed to put his past the keeper and the LA Galaxy had to settle for runner-up.

The Beckham family was present at the match to cheer on David.

After the match, David and Victoria went to dinner with the rest of the Galaxy squad. Those are some dapper suits that the Galaxy have. I definitely approve.

LA Galaxy in MLS Championship Final

David finished the game with an assist, but without a spot in the MLS All-Star game. (Huh?)

Must have been past the littlest Beckham's bedtime.

Kisses!
