Pompey Invokes Humiliation Efforts

In hopes of embarrassing players into playing better, Portsmouth have begun a new training program in humility. Whichever player has the worst day in training has to drive a Portsmouth-blue Reliant Robin home from training and back the following day. (Oh yes, the Robin only has 3 wheels.) The first to submitted to the torture was, none other than, David James. He seemed to take the humiliation with pride, even posing beside the car for the cameras, which perhaps defeated the purpose of the exercise. Either way, the tall goalkeeper looked a little absurd climbing out of the tiny clown car.
