First off, the boys attended the more casual Serena Williams' Pre-ESPYs party.

But for the actual ceremony, they cleaned up quite nicely. But I must point out that EVERY ONE of them has a cell phone in their pocket. At least we think they do...


And WHERE did this bird come from? Her waist is like smaller than my wrist. Eat a biscuit or something, woman!


Surprisingly, the accolade they won, is voted on by American sports fans. The boys won in the Best Moment of the Year category for their last-minute goal against Algeria.



Who chose your shoes Mr. Bocanegra? Clint Eastwood?

World Cup 2018 Bids: Hot Men and Handbags

David Beckham was there as the ambassador for the England bid. He held the bid all pretty-like and visible. Then Becks presented the 3-Part Box Set to Sepp Blatter whilst posing like the injured stud that he is.




Carlos Bocanegra was representing the United States' bid, which was also presented in a lovely box-set.


The Dutch took a different, and much less traditional approach. Handbags.

So the bid must have been written on some scraps of paper and gum wrappers, I suppose.

And if one person tells me that these are manbags/murses, I will tell them they are oblivious morons kindly to look again.

USA Beat Costa Rica

Actually is was a draw, but it felt like a win because we had already qualified for the World Cup, and now Costa Rica faces Uruguay in a playoff match. Too bad.





I would like to send my best to Charlie Davies and his family. The next year is going to be difficult, but you are strong and will persevere. (But I'd also like to point out the one pillock who's holding a six.)

Jozy Altidore is very close with him and they room together on international duty.

USA v. Mexico: Tunnel Tussle

Mexico coach, Paco Ramirez, decided to take it upon himself to punish Frankie Hejduk for apparently telling Mexico, “F**k You!” after the match. But really he was saying “F**k Yeah!” in an attempt to pump up the crowd. Do I really care what he said? No. Does it make an entertaining video? Most definitely.

Side Note: Tim Howard and Carlos Bocanegra are filmed in the tunnel at the very beginning of the clip. So… hot.
