France v Ireland and Stages of Grief

Robbie Keane scored the goal for Ireland and all was looking well. (Besides whatever that face Robbie is making. I don't get it.)

But then, in extra time, France scored. Even with the controversial "hand of god" from Henry, a result, is a result. And in my personal opinion, a replay would just feel empty.

Ireland had difficulty dealing with the result. The grief was difficult to take. First came anger.

Then pain and sadness.

But eventually they pulled themselves together and applauded the presence and support of their fans. My heart goes out to you.

(In the end, the better kits pulled in front. I mean, seriously, could they be any tighter?)
