Chelsea and Everton Pre-Season Training

Petr Cech and Michael Essien had to do a vertical jump test. This test is used to measure a player's general muscle strength. (Yes, this required research, which included some serious maths. I'm knackered.)

New Chelsea signing, Yossi Benayoun, and thightastic John Obi Mikel also participated in training.

Henrique Hilario and Franco Di Santo caught up on some reading together.

But up north, they had completely different methods. Some I think Chelsea should contemplate. Anything that exposes more skin, really.

Why Goalkeepers Need To Show Off Their Arms

Um... how is it that I'm just now finding out about this tattoo? That is some serious ink to be constantly hidden underneath the long sleeves of a goalkeeper jersey. Sad, really.

Chelsea Players Celebrate Winning Title at Whisky Mist

I'm going to fill everyone and tell you that Christine left Frank's house the next morning. SCANDALOUS! (And by scandalous, I mean, you lucky git.)

Chelsea Pre-Game Observations

Frank had a laugh with Jose in the tunnel before warm-up. There is obviously still love there, from both parties.

Henrique Hilario tried to strike up conversation as well, but Jose seems disinterested. No love lost there.

Petr Cech needs a tan. Badly. He's becoming translucent.

Ashley Cole is bored. (And probably depressed.)

Boys Will Be Boys: Training Ground Snowball Fights

The Liverpool lads had a bit of fun at the expense of a select few. We also learn some things, or perhaps not, about the player's personalities.

For instance, Javier Mascherano is revengeful. (Duh.)

Alberto Aquilani likes discretion and prefers to stay under the radar, until at last he strikes.

And all the others are just blatant children.

The Chelsea lads chose to take aim at the camera and the press staff. Joe Cole took an open shot.

While Petr Cech and Henrique Hilario enjoyed tossing a few at fellow players.

Chelsea Chose Peculiar Pose

Could they be any more obvious. I mean, not that I mind or anything.

The new boys are "showing" lots of potential.

Others chose to take a more subtle approach. I don't appreciate it.
