Chelsea Player of the Year Awards 2009-2010

Florent Malouda won Player's Player of the Year, while Didier Drogba snagged the Player of the Year award. For his goal against Sunderland at Stamford Bridge, Ashley Cole won the award for Goal of the Season.

And for capturing the FA Youth Cup, the entire youth team won Young Player of the Year.

Chelsea's '10-'11 Home kits

I approve of the following: sleeve length, tightness, lion on socks, the hint of red, and Michael Ballack's haircut.

I disapprove of: long length of shorts, Joe Cole's side-part, JT's stance, and the lack of short-tents.

Chelsea 7 - 2 Sunderland

Nicolas Anelka got the scoring started on just 8 minutes.

Then Florent Malouda pulled one back on 17 minutes.

With lots of quick passing and fancy footwork, Ashley Cole scored another goal for Chelsea.

Frank Lampard scored a gorgeous volley on 34 minutes.

Michael Ballack played well and eventually scored after the half. Not long after nicolas Anelka put another past the Sunderland keeper.

And in the dieing embers of the match, Frank Lampard put in a header off of a cross from Anelka.

Midweek Rain for Chelsea

I guess I'll start out with the bad. Essien had one of the worst performances I've ever seen. There wasn't a single pass he made that was complete. It wasn't a good night for him.

JT got elbowed in the head early on in he game and didn't move for a moment. Apparently he was knocked out cold. But he eventually arose and continued on.

Ashley played well, and his thighs played even better.

Flo's thighs decided to make an appearance as well.

And JT's also had an unlikely emergence.

Kalou splashed around a bit on the pitch.

And Anelka scored on the 48th minute to secure three points for the Blues.

Chelsea's 09-10 Armani Suits

My lord, they're lovely.

Don't the boys look dashing? Especially, Frank. But where's JT?

Chelsea Win World Football Challenge

With goals from Franco Di Santo and Florent Malouda (in a 2 minute span in the second half, may I add), Chelsea secured the World Football Challenge trophy/plate by beating Club America at the new Cowboy's Stadium in Dallas, Texas. They're so cute when they win. (Well, they're cute all the time, but more when they are happy and smiley.)
